ABOUT SPITI VALLEY:
Spiti valley is surrounded by the Himalayas and is at an altitude of 12,500ft. It only gets just around 250 days of sunshine in the year. The winter days are very harsh to explore around. You can only travel by roadway through Kullu and Shimla. Because Spiti does not have its own airport, the nearest airport is Kullu.. Flights to Kullu are available from Mumbai. The rest distance is to be covered by road. The total distance from Kullu is 78km. Enjoying the mountain routes to Spiti is very captivating. For railway, Shimla is the nearest station. You can hire a cab or bus to reach Spiti.
CLIMATIC CONDITION:
For sightseeing in the Spiti region, details about the weather are essential. In the summer, the most suitable period is from April to July. The temperature is ideal for visiting such a cold place. While planning a trip to Spiti valley, keep this in mind it is a small valley known as the cold desert mountain in Himachal Pradesh.
